Roda de Samba, 3-4 October 2013
Australia's first dedicated samba event
Venue: Old Museum Building, Bowen Hills, Brisbane
To meet the growing demand for Samba no pé in Australia, Brazil Central have created an exciting NEW event that can either be enjoyed on its own, or in conjunction with our larger Zouk Lambada Congress. "Roda de Samba" refers to dancing samba in a circle, where people take it in turns to be in the centre and show their skill. The circle unifies participants, and thereby creates an exhilarating energy. Exactly what we want our samba event to be known for!
We have gathered together Australia's hottest Sambistas, along with some exciting international guest artists, so that they can share with you their "ginga" - their own special style, and help you to develop your own!
Not only that, we will also have specialist trade stalls to tempt you with the latest in makeup, costumes, feathers and sparkles!
For total dance immersion, book a pass for both the Roda de Samba and Zouk Lambada Congress and receive $100 OFF the total price!
