Jaime Jesus, Latin Dance Australia
The Instructor, Jaime Jesus has been the lead instructor for Latin Dance Australia since 2003. His amicable personality and ability to explain the most intricate of details has earned him a reputation as Australia's best male instructor and one of the best instructors in the world in different forms of latin dance such as salsa, bachata, cha cha and zouk. His reputation has carried him to instruct thousands of dancers all over the world in places such as:

- 2008/09: Jaime completed 2 national tours of every major city in Australia as well as tours of Asia and Europe where he has been headlined as an international guest instructor and performer.
As a performer Jaime has become one of the most sought after dancers world wide. His original style and trade mark choreographies have taken audiences by storm and landed him international offers to perform in every major international congress around the world. His success has also seen him take both professional and student teams from Latin Dance Australia to perform on the international circuit.
Jaime has spent the last 2 years winning 7 out of 8 salsa competitions; with his last competition giving him the title of “Australia Salsa Champion” contested by some of the best salsa dancers from all over Australia. Jaime has become a regular judge at most of Australia's salsa competitions and has been invited to judge international salsa competitions such as the “World Amateur Salsa Championships” in San Marino and recently being a guest judge in competitions in Spain, China, Korea, New Zealand and many more.
His biggest achievement as a judge was his success in being selected as one of the judges in the 2nd and 3rd series of the ABC television series “Strictly Dancing”, Australia's number 1 dance competition. Here Jaime became the face of Australian salsa as he was viewed by over 1.5million viewers around Australia every Friday night during the 2005 and 2006 series.
Outside of Salsa Jaime is a movie buff, owning a collection of over 200 DVD's and it is still growing. He also has an undying passion for the World Game, a fanatic for the Socceroos and his birth country Uruguay, Jaime can spend countless hours watching his football and refuses to miss a single match when its time for the world cup. At only 26 years of age Jaime has a drive and urge to be the best he can be in everything he does. Having achieved so much in such a short time, Jaime believes he is destined for much greater things and thanks God for all his blessings.
