Daniela Wergles, Centro de Dança Alex de Carvalho
Daniela Wergles is a member of the Alex de Carvalho Dance Company, which is run by Alex de Carvalho and Rafael Oliveira. She is also one of the professional instructors from Centro de Dança Alex de Carvalho where she specialises in Zouk Lambada, Samba de Gafieira, Samba no Pé, Salsa on 1, Salsa on 2, Bolero, Brazilian Swing (Soltinho), Forró, Cha-Cha-Cha, Merengue, Rock, Lindy-Hop and Tango. Daniela is also a member of MamboRio Dance Company, which is run by Fernando Shellemberg and Nayara Mello (Champions of Salsa Open Brazil, held in São Paulo in 2007).
Daniela has performed and taught at various important Dança de Salão events such as: Festival of Dance of Rio das Ostras – Rio de Janeiro – 2007, Encounter of Academies of Londrina – Paraná – 2008, the 6th World Salsa Congress – São Paulo, 1st World Zouk and Lambada Congress – Rio de Janeiro – 2008 and was one of the organisers of Island of Zouk – Ilha Grande, Rio de Janeiro – 2008/2009.
Along with Dança de Salão, Daniela also studies Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary and Hip Hop. Daniela also studies music, and is a professional singer of MPB (popular Brazilian music), and has performed at many important events throughout Rio de Janeiro.
