Alisson Sandi
Brazuka & Juan Rando Dance Academy
Alisson hails from Brazil, São Paulo. His arrival into Perth in 2007, blew the top off the Latin dance world. He has made himself an integral part of the Juan Rando Dance Academy as the main Brazilian Dance Instructor where he teaches Brazilian Zouk, Samba de Gafieira, Argentine tango, Salsa, Forró and Axé. Alisson is also qualified in Salsa On1 and On2, Bolero, Tango, West Coast swing, and more. Having taught a variety of these styles in Brazil and around the world he is a great asset to the dance studio in Perth.
Since arriving in Perth he travelled to Teach, Perform and DJ at Salsa and Brazilian Congresses and Schools in Australia and other countries, such as: Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Spain, United Arab Emirates, Chile, Reunion Island, etc.
He has taught in Singapore and Malaysia introducing Brazilian Zouk into the community in 2008 and 2009, which turned out to be a highly unexpected success! Thus bringing him back to Singapore and Malaysia and other countries throughout Asia many times since to teach both Brazilian Zouk and introduce Samba de Gafieira.
In 2009 he was specially invited to choreograph a group Zouk routine for the Australian Dance Festival. Alisson then spent 2 months in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand teaching, performing and choreographing. While in Singapore, Alisson choreographed the first zouk team in Singapore (for Two-Left Feet School). In 2010 Alisson also choreographed the first Forro Team to perform at the Sydney Salsa Congress which was a great success with the public and promoting Brazilian dance styles.
He has created BRAZUKA DANCE, the Brazillian wing which Alisson heads for Juan Rando Dance Academy. He is an aspiring and ambitious man with a forward view towards making the Brazillian Rhythms a huge success everywhere he goes.
Back in Brazil Alisson has been dancing for over 7 years. His regimented training in jazz, contemporary and other Latin and Brazilian styles has made him a flexible and strong dancer. He has performed at a variety of Congresses in Brazil such as Baila Floripa 2005, 2006, 2007 one of the biggest and most prestigious Dance Congresses held in Brazil. He has travelled to Australia to further his studies and in the process maintain his dancing while teaching others to explore a whole new dance world.
Audrey Isautier
Brazuka & Juan Rando Dance Academy
Audrey is a recognized Brazilian Zouk dancer living and working in Perth Western Australia. Born in Reunion Island, she began to dance at the age of 3, with a background in contemporary, ballet, jazz and Bharatanatyam (traditional Indian dance) and she has performed and danced with many different companies around Reunion.
Her arrival in Australia changed her dancing path as she began to train in Latin dance styles such as Salsa, Bachata, Tango, Brazilian Zouk and Samba de Gafieira. She has worked hard and is currently working as a dance Instructor and Coreographer at the Juan Rando Dance Academy located in Subiaco, Western Australia.
In 2010 Audrey travelled to Brazil to learn from some of the best Brazilian Zouk and Samba de Gafieira dance instructors. She is renowned as one of the best Zouk dancers and Zouk teachers in Australia, where she has not only gained valued experience, but also enormous recognition and respect from her fellow teachers and students alike. She has performed in Australian and a number of overseas countries and has had the opportunity to travel and teach dance workshops in Singapore, Dubai as well as Brazil Central 2010 (Brisbane) and the Sydney Salsa Congress 2011 (Sydney) offering students more technique and styling.
