Daniel Pinto

Brazilian Soul

Daniel began learning Latin dance in Jaime Arôxa's Dance Academy in 1998. Jaime Arôxa's academy has the best teaching methodology for Latin dance and is the biggest dance school in Brazil. Daniel was asked to start teaching there in 2000.

Before moving to Brisbane with Carolyn and starting their own dance school 'Brazilian Soul' in December 2007, Daniel was teaching full time in Jaime Arôxa's Dance Academy in Rio de Janeiro. The dance styles he was teaching included tango, samba de gafieira, samba no pé, bolero, zouk (lambada), forró, salsa and soltinho. As well as teaching, Daniel performed for many private and corporate functions, congresses, and television shows around Brazil, and was doing so since 2000.
